Bandol Red 2014
Our vintage 2014, is a blend dominated by the characteristic Bandol grape variety, Mourvedre, combined with Grenache, Cinsault and Carignan. The vines are planted on an arid land facing south, on hillsides with clay-limestone soils.
Powerful and racy, Bandol red wine is the perfect accompaniment to grilled red meat, a lamb tagine or a hunter rabbit.

Grape Varieties : 62 % Mourvedre, 18% Grenache, 12% Cinsault,
8% Carignan
Yield : 35 hl/ha
Vinification : Destemming and crushing. Maceration for 3 weeks in thermo-regulated stainless steel vats (24-26°C) with daily pumping over.
Ageing : 18 months in French oak barrels.
Tasting notes
Visual Appreciation : Intense garnet with slightly coppery reflections.
Olfactory Appreciation : Notes of candied red fruits, liquorice, caramel and leather.
Taste : Powerful and expressive wine with aromas of wild berries and green pepper. Fine and smooth tannins with a nice length in the mouth.
